And Happy Last Day of School to our APS families!

It's been a great first week of practice. We will offer one last additional practice tonight at 6:30 p.m. for those who could not attend this morning due to school. 

Tomorrow is our first Color Wars Competition: Team Cheer and Poster

*Color Wars is an intra-team competition for the competitive team only. Pre-Teamers do not participate in Color Wars. BUT - I need pre-team parents at the parent meeting!

Team Cheer and Poster is a dry land activity. No swim suits needed. Please bring water, sunscreen, and snacks if your kiddo(s) needs them.

Kids should report to the pool area at 8:00 a.m. where they will be assigned their Color Wars Team for the season, and the rules of engagement will be explained. 

Once explanations are made, parents will begin the All-Parent Informational Meeting. This meeting is for new families, returning families, and pre-team families. Meeting place is TBA and will be announced when you arrive at 8:00 with your kids. Watch your phone for notifications from SwimTopia (download the app and turn notifications ON if you haven't!)

At 9:45 a.m., the Color Wars Teams will present their cheers and posters for scoring. Parents, you don't want to miss this! We will conclude the competition at 10:00 a.m.
